This is a completely custom built wiring harness from HOAGLAND CUSTOM!

A Classic Player Baja style Telecaster wiring harness with 4-way series/parallel switching and the famous Fender® S-1 switch for out-of-phase positions….

This Baja Tele wiring gives you LOTS of GREAT choices! It is made to work with any two (2) single coil pickup combination.

With the S-1 switch in the “down” position, you have 4 pickup combinations and, with the S-1 in the “up” position, you have an additional 4 pickup combinations!

It incorporates series/parallel 4-way Tele switching, phase-reversing, and is chock full of premium quality parts! It fits right into the Tele electronics cutout and is simple to solder in. We include a very easy-to-understand wiring diagram.

This does not include the S-1 knob or the control plate. We have several styles and colors of control plates available here on our website.

HARDWARE:

• Included:  chrome switch mounting screws, dress washers & nuts
• Included: Switchcraft mono output jack, standard
• Optional “Pure Tone” premium mono output jack

CAPACITORS:

• 1 – .015mfd Sprague “Orange Drop” cap & 1 – .047mfd Vitamin T “Silver Barrel” paper-in-oil cap

SWITCHING POSITIONS (with the S-1 in the “DOWN” position):

• P1 – bridge pickup only
• P2 – bridge & neck pickups, in-parallel and out-of-phase
• P3 – neck pickup only
• P4 – bridge & neck pickups, in-series and out-of-phase

SWITCHING POSITIONS (with the S-1 in the “UP” position):

• P1 – bridge pickup only
• P2 – bridge & neck pickups, in-parallel
• P3 – neck pickup only
• P4 – bridge & neck pickups, in-series

• 1 Fender® brand S-1 volume control, 250k value
• 1 CTS or Bourns Pro Series tone control, 250k value, linear taper
• 1 Vitamin T “Silver Barrel” .047mfd value paper-in-oil tone capacitor
• 1 Sprague “Orange Drop” .015mfd value tone capacitor
• 4-way lever style switch
• Switchcraft mono output jack
• Gavitt vintage style, cloth covered wire (where possible)

While we make all of our wiring harnesses to be installed rather easily, we always recommend that you take your guitar, Hoagland Custom wiring harness, and the wiring diagram to your local guitar technician for installation. There are a lot of variables (grounding, pickup wires colors, etc., etc.) and they will be equipped to get your guitar sounding it’s BEST!
