This is a REVERSED custom built wiring harness from HOAGLAND CUSTOM!

In this REVERSED Baja wiring harness, the switch is moved to the bottom (closest to the bridge) and the volume is at the top (closest to the neck)

A Classic Player Baja style Telecaster wiring harness with 4-way series/parallel switching and the famous Fender® S-1 switch for out-of-phase positions….

This Baja Tele wiring gives you LOTS of GREAT choices! It is made to work with any two (2) Tele single coil pickup combination.

With the S-1 switch in the “down” position, you have 4 pickup combinations and, with the S-1 in the “up” position, you have an additional 4 pickup combinations!

It incorporates series/parallel 4-way Tele switching, phase-reversing, and is chock full of premium quality parts! It fits right into the Tele electronics cutout and is simple to solder in. We include a very easy-to-understand wiring diagram.

HARDWARE:   (included in the basic wiring harness are dress washers/nuts and switch mounting screws)

CAPACITORS:

• 1 – .015mfd Sprague “Orange Drop” cap & 1 – .047mfd Vitamin Q “Black Candy” paper-in-oil cap (both caps standard)

SWITCHING POSITIONS (with the S-1 in the “DOWN” position):

• P1 – bridge pickup only
• P2 – bridge & neck pickups, in-parallel and out-of-phase
• P3 – neck pickup only
• P4 – bridge & neck pickups, in-series and out-of-phase

SWITCHING POSITIONS (with the S-1 in the “UP” position):

• P1 – bridge pickup only
• P2 – bridge & neck pickups, in-parallel
• P3 – neck pickup only
• P4 – bridge & neck pickups, in-series

• 1 CTS or Bourns Pro Series tone control, 250k value, linear taper
• 1 Vitamin Q “Black Candy” .047mfd value paper-in-oil capacitor

While we make all of our wiring harnesses to be installed rather easily, we always recommend that you take your guitar, Hoagland Custom wiring harness, and the wiring diagram to your local guitar technician for installation. There are a lot of variables (grounding, pickup wires colors, etc., etc.) and they will be equipped to get your guitar sounding it’s BEST!
