This is a rock solid wiring solution for your Esquire. Get rid of the electronics in your guitar that aren’t helping your tone and load your Tele up with a “Made In The USA” (everything but the capacitor) wiring harness that is built like a tank! Very easy to install.
This “Jeff Beck” mod is specifically for a single bridge single coil pickup Tele.
HARDWARE:
- Silver nuts, washers, output jack, & switch mounting screws
- Optional – Black & gold hardware is also available
- Optional – We stock several types & finishes of control plates here in our website if you need one
- Optional – “Pure Tone” premium mono output jack
CAPACITORS:
- Mallory vintage style “Mustard” poly capacitor, .047mfd value
- a .0033mfd value ceramic disc capacitor
SWITCHING POSITIONS:
P1 – Volume control only with the capacitor but no tone control
P2 – Volume control with the capacitor and tone control
P3 – Volume control only, no capacitor, no tone control
STANDARD INCLUDES:
- 1 CTS or Bourns Pro Series volume control, 250k value, audio taper
- 1 CTS or Bourns Pro Series tone control, 250k value, linear taper
- Mallory vintage style “Mustard” poly tone capacitor, .047mfd value
